Blossom is a branding and packaging design project focused on creating high-quality aromatherapy blends specifically to enhance your desired mood. With a range of methods for use and scent options, Blossom is guaranteed to have a product for everyone with self-enhancement in mind. The main typeface and name were selected to provide the brand with an organic touch, while the colors were chosen to coincide with the mood they are paired with.

I knew going into this project with the idea of an aromatherapy brand, I wanted to connect scents and colors with emotions. For this project, research was necessary to discover the best aromatherapy blends for certain moods. For example, the scents eucalyptus and lavender are typically associated with calm and relaxed emotions. Blue was then chosen as the color for this blend because cooler tones can be associated with sleep and relaxation.
The finalized project became exactly what I envisioned in the beginning. The packaging for each product features striking nature images, monochromatic color palettes, and icons that represent each scent blend and desired emotion. I enjoyed working on this project for a multitude of reasons. Trying something new and not only designing packaging but also assembling it was challenging yet highly educational.
