6 Feet Apart

Inspired by the Coronavirus pandemic, "6 Feet Apart" illustrates a ripple effect of mask-wearing through the use of a tree. Created in 2020 during the confusion regarding the pandemic and its severity, the purpose of this project was to express the need for social distancing and facial coverings. The tree is similar to a family tree in the sense that one decision either to wear or not to wear a mask affects multiple others.

Goals

Create an illustrative piece to reflect the emotion tied to the Coronavirus pandemic.
Visually display the emotions felt during the beginning of the pandemic.
Represent the importance for facial coverings to prevent further infection.
